Returning to the Capital Wasteland

Its been awhile since I tried Fallout 3 again, and it feels great to be back. I've ran my course with the Mojave and need to put down New Vegas for awhile. I love the ruins and atmosphere of Fallout 3. Just getting chills with some of the scenery as I travel along the highways. The DC Ruins are crazy! Plus i'm playing on the PC this time, so I have added just a couple mods to to spice it up a little, textures and making it a bit more 'pretty' graphic wise. I already miss hardcoe Mode though from New Vegas, so i'm doing my self imposed version of it. I found FWE's mod to be a bit too tough and not as fun. So i'm trying to watch my carry weight and not carry more then a couple weapons and some explosives. Man, I forgot how useful frag mines are in this game! The weapon mod kits is sweet, and I never really used it before. I just picked up Xuanlong Assault rifle and added a extended clip, silencer and laser sight to it. Can't wait to test this baby out.

I know there is a thread from way back about Fallout 3 hardcoe version by some players here. But what are some of your guys and gals 'rules' when traveling through the wasteland?

I also couldn't refuse to talk Moira Brown out of doing that book lol she needs to go down a peg or two in terms of being too peppy. Plus her increased repair skill is wicked. I find its a lot tougher to maintain good conditioned equipment in FO3 compared to New Vegas.

Anyways, its good to be back.
