Is Bacon Over Rated?

Sausage > bacon.

Bacon is nice but I can't stand the fat unless it has been burnt to a crisp, so the bacon is usually crispy as well. Also, I never ask for a bacon and egg mcmuffin.

Turkey burgers, on the other hand, are amazing. Don't you dare say otherwise.

But I ask for a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit.

There's also ground turkey meat (similar to grounded beef) that my Dad an I use to make Hamburger Helper and it taste fantastic plus it doesn't give you indigestion either.

I know of Rabbit meat and the whole deal. It tastes best in stew and is considered a delicacy for me atleast.

Thick Bacon is a whole 'nother story for me at least. Over a fire with fry bread and its great.

I don't eat bacon. The ultra crispy kind is kinda okay, but it's far from the best meat I've eaten. I'm not a fan of pork in general, give me well-prepared venison or duck any day.

The internet's obssesion with bacon is amusing, but when I look at these "bacon makes everything better" food images, all I think is "this is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen." Well, that one diabetes-on-a-plate abomination was worse, but as far as meat goes...

I thought so until I tried bacon jerky.

Having just got home from the store, with 4 strips of deli bacon (Not the crap in plastic.) to add to my dinner, nope, not over rated.

Though I do agree nothing beats wild meats!!! I still love my bacon though! (And frankly, I don't eat it a lot. So it's almost like a treat.)

I love bacon. I can't get enough. To me, it is the epitomy of food. Only thing that could be better? Chocolate covered bacon.
