got a question about textures

Ok ive been using qarls texture packs (if anyone knows of another pack that plays nice with qarls let me know) and it was looking wonderful. But then i decided to undo some mods and add some mods. Now i was orginally jusy running OOO and alternate start with the texture mods. Game looked amazing. Then i got to snooping around and saw a wonderful face replacer for everyone (ow man i am highly impressed, crazy how making faces look so much better adds a new level of enjoyment and gets me to act more serious about roleplaying) but it did play well with overhauls.
OOO went bye bye and i added some clothes and equipemnt mods and bought the deluxe edition and added a mod that was a complilation of added areas.
i installed the mods and made sure i didnt overwrite any textures that qarls did. Basically pressed no to all if it asked me to replace textures.

Start up game and everyone is looking FABULOUS!!! but lol and behold my prison cell i look around and its all bavk to orginal textures. Now while the orginal textures with certain lighting can still be nice or add certain atmosphere, QARL (R.I.P) made the game look AMAZING! now when i got out of the prison i look around and i see his textures here and there (a broken box here, a rock over there, etc etc) but a good bit is now orginal textures.

Now im wondering before i start messing up something, would i be able to fix this by simply reinstalling Qarls txtures again and overwriting everything (long process since i did it manually) or is this a lost cause or do i have nogstagia glasses on thinking his mod did more than whay it actually did? I am on some heavy pain medicine so it is entirely possibly for that.

Anyway, what should i do and also any suggestion?

As you don't mention it, make sure you're running http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/944/?. Also, did you mean that the face replacer (I guess TNR) DIDN'T play well with overhauls so that was why you skipped OOO? If so, you can use both if using the Bashed Patch that comes with Wrye Bash and just import the NPC faces from TNR. Then it will work fine with any overhaul editing the NPCs.
