Not really sure on this one....

I have a spare house in the town I am currently modding, the last interior left to make :twirl: . I could make it into another NPC house but I think I would rather make it into something more useful to the player.

My town already has 7 NPC homes, a Town Hall, a guard house, a player house, a general store, an alchemy store, a clothes store, a tavern, a bakery and market stalls that sell weapons and fresh produce...so I was thinking maybe a....library? I made a fantastic library for a personal hotel mod that I never released and I am thinking the same design would be great for the town. The player could go and read, but not take the books. So now my problem....

In order to make a good library I would have to include most if not all the regular books available in the game. Would this make my library a colossal cheat? Ruining peoples games by making so many books available?

I checked out the Winterhold College library and there are so few books in that library that it only looks like a library.

If not a library, anyone got any ideas what I can do with my last house? I thought maybe art gallery, but it is too small. The house is a retextured Solitude farmhouse like Katla's farmhouse, so not too big but a two story house.

Bit out of ideas here. Maybe this topic should be in the general section?

How about a walk-in clinic for the local doctor. I mean what with all the Dragons and Vampires out there.

Already got the alchemy store for that.

I guess that is the way to go. At least the player will have something of interest to actually use, rather then another NPC house where they enter it once, if even that, and that is it.

Why not make an empty library which the player has to fill with books? It could have a librarian which has inherited the dusty, empty library and the player cooperates with her/him to fill it. There is a book collector mod, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33720/?, which you perhaps could check out for scripts etc. Anyway, I'd love it and I doubt I'll ever get around to testing out Dovahkiin - Collector of Books as by the time my char has bought the Markarth house plus the expensive library the game has more or less ended.

Having all the books in the game in one place would feel like it's Jobasha's Rare Bookshop, from Morrowind. You could maybe have a kajhiit bookseller, as an easter egg too.
