I completed this quest, but am unable to remove these diaries from my inventory. Is there a way to remove them?

If you play on pc, yes. Otherwise, no.

will let you remove *any* quest item from your inventory even before you have finished the quest, potentially breaking the quest completely.
A dangerous ability but one that should have been in the game from the start.
