Blurry Birch trees

Post » Fri Jul 25, 2014 4:05 pm

So i have an unmodded skyrim and have the video setting set to ultra but for some weird reason my birch trees are really low res. They look like they're from daggerfall. I really don't know what to do anymore/ Any help would be really appreciated. I wish i could post a picture but i do not know how.

Restore your graphics properties from your GPU control panel to the default state, and delete your skyrim.ini and skyrimPrefs.ini.

Location: C:\ Users \ [ Your name ] \ Documents \ My Games \ skyrim \

Try first at high settings.

I deleted the skyrim.ini and the skyrimPrefs.ini folders and that didn't change anynthing. Not sure how to set my graphics properties to default.

If you have an Nvidia card: http://oi60.tinypic.com/2dgqr77.jpg

On Ati:

Click "Catalyst Control Center" to open your ATI Radeon configuration settings control panel.

Click the "Defaults" button at the bottom-right of the window to restore all of the settings to the default factory configurations. Click "OK" to exit the Catalyst Control Center.

Just select high in your Skyrim Options detail menu, and tell me if your graphics are blocky again...

You have an 2011 socket processor !!!! Awesome...

Take a picture from your skyrim game with PrtScn (Print screen) and upload it to this site: http://tinypic.com/ (it's free)

After that PM (Personal message) me, and i will upload it to this topic.

-----------

Right click on my profile picture -> Open link in new tab -> at the right side, the second button: Sent me a message

The other trees are okay, if you go close to them ???

---------

Can you change those:

bTreesReceiveShadows=0
bDrawLandShadows=0

to:

bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1

at skyrimPrefs.ini under [Display]

The other trees are fine. Even other birch trees just 5 near riverwood seem to be this way. I thought all birch trees were this but they aren't. So sorry for wasting your time and thank you so much for your help and being so patient with me.

Obviously it's just a location glitch.

So don't bother...Have a nice day. :icecream:

And something else, with that CPU, i would go for an GTX 770, maybe on a future time. !!! (if you want to make an upgrade).

This CPU is amazingly fast. !!! (Don't ever change it) lol

(Don't forget to check your Power supply)

Maybe try going back to the location at a later time. Maybe Skyrim had a hiccup when it was loading the tree textures.
