Somehow, my character has obtained a "strange glow". I think it may have occurred after defeating Alduin in Sovngarde, though I am unsure.

This "Glow" refuses to go away. Any Ideas?

its a known bug called the Sovngarde glow. There are tips on trying to remove it but I found it was best to reload an earlier save. Its a residual effect from being in Sovngarde. There is a trick I read about where you add the effect to yourself through the console and then remove it. I never got that to work though.

I should have done this first, but when I Googled "Skyrim Sovngarde Glow" I found a post on http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/854562-sovngarde-glow-doesnt-dissapear-after-final-quest/ site that was very helpful with all kinds of effects and getting rid of them.
