So I was visiting Camp McCarran today. Decided to head south and go Fiend hunting.

All was well, until out of nowhere, I see a Deathclaw fighting Fiends at the West Pump Station just east of Vault 3.

How and why the heck was a Deathclaw there?! Anyone ever seen this before?

Also, the Deathclaw won. Surprise.

Can't say I'm suprised a Deathclaw won, but I'm slightly suprised you found a Deathclaw near McCarran. I suppose it depends on how far south you went. Deathclaws actually have been found around the Cassidy Caravans wreckage before, so I suppose that it is possible it spawned near the edge of the area, ran into some fiends, and in attacking them attracted more fiends, slowly drifting closer to McCarran. To be seen at McCarran does suprise me a lot, though, so could you give me a more specific location?

BTW, if there is a deathclaw infestation at McCarran, New Vegas will be pretty easy to make Independent.

So strange. I've never seen a Deathclaw anywhere around that area before.

Thank goodness I'm level 35. If that happened earlier in my playthrough I'd have been Deathclaw chow!
