Hi all,

i have a large collection of mods and recently added two more mods (texture optimizer and no more block faces) to my mod collection. shortly after having the mod installed i decided i wanted to uninstall it. i uninstalled the mod, however i did it whilst (i think) the mod was in use in the save. i started my game up again but it loads my game save and then exits to my desktop. i have tried uninstalling all of my mods and it still wont load. i think this is because its trying to load mods that are very prominent in the save. i have thought about loading an old save which is in skyrim saves but does not show up to load in game. does anybody know how to activate this old save to load in game or just to solve this in general?

Neither texture optimizer (I guess you mean that you optimized your textures with some tool) or no more blocky faces should leave any trace in your saves - and removing them (not sure what you mean with removing the texture optimizer) shouldn't matter when it comes to loading a save or CTDs. They don't have any esp's or scripts - we're just talking about textures. Sounds like something else. Did you install/uninstall something else?
