Good Computer for Skyrim within $1000 to $1500?

Post » Mon Jul 28, 2014 3:58 pm

I'm planning on getting a new computer some time next month (my current computer, while by no means a fossil, is still a few years outdated) and, since I plan on getting Skyrim for the PC (for the mods, of course), I need some advice on what I should get.

I have no skill in putting a computer together myself, so that's out of the question, so I'm gonna need either a pre-made computer or have it custom-made for me.

I'd rather spend within $1000 for it, but I'm willing to spend with $1500 if necessary.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

You are much better off asking in the Community Discussion Tech thread. Someone there might know a reputable US custom builder. You will probably get the usual 'build it yourself' comments. Just one thing I will say, DO NOT skimp on the power supply so you can spend $10 more on graphics.
