I've been looking for a few really good horror games to play on my 360. With that not being one of my favored genres, I don't know what's good and what's not. I have Condemned: Criminal Origins and I like that one. I bought Silent Hill: Downpour and it was fun at first but headed too far into that supernatural sort of realm and I can't really get into it. I don't mind if the game has some strong fiction in it, but too much just blurs out the real horror aspect for me. I absolutely loved the creepiness of Alan Wake and it's one of my favorite games. That one leads a bit into the non-realistic realm, but I still loved it so I'm not entirely opposed to that type of horror game. Any potential ideas are greatly appreciated.

Both The Evil Within and Alien: Isolation are released in October and looks promising.

The Xbox game Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is playable on the 360.

Resident Evil 4 HD is available on XBLA.

I loved Resident Evil 4. Certainly wouldn't mind playing through it again. I'll give that a look if it's not too much. Didn't mind Resident Evil 5 but it was nothing like it's predecessor in terms of enjoyment.

As for the first couple games you mentioned, will those be released on the 360 and not just the newer consoles do you know?
