Movie Discussion #2

New movie thread because I'm not done yet.

Dear Pluto,

I haven't seen Bronson yet, although I did watch Drive with some friends. I didn't enjoy it too much at the time, mainly because I found Gosling's faux-autism act to be amusing in all the wrong ways. I was laughing the whole time. I also think that I didn't appreciate it due to sub-optimal viewing conditions (we were drinking, and I'm a happy drunk), so there was a lot of yelling and cackling. I want to watch it again, if only to see if it improves on a second viewing.

You start off with a misleading title, then you insult us by calling us "nerds"?! What blasphemy! I'll be having none of it.

(I'm just joking of course)

I watched two movies yesterday. I watched Snitch with Dwayne Johnson. I really liked the movie, even with Johnson's terrible acting in it. I'm quite positive he's capable of a better performance. Well...maybe not. I don't know.

Then I watched Gravity with Sandra Bullock. Back when I saw trailers for this I had no intentions of watching it seeing as how it looked like it was going to be two hours of her floating around in space talking to herself but I couldn't find another movie to watch on HBOGO. I was right with my original assumption. What an awful movie. There was no sense of intensity or suspense when she was in several critical situations. Very boring.

Hi. My name is AlBQuirky. I am a NERD.

Watched Bladerunner the other day. I have it on Blu-Ray with like 3 or 4 copies of the movie. When it came out, I remember being really uncomfortable, because there was no place in Los Angelos of 2019 that was "clean" or "bright." I'm better now

Great movie.

The only films that interest me for the remainder of the year are Dumb and Dumber To and The Hobbit.

I plan on going to watch Guardians of the Galaxy. Only been to the theaters once this year only to watch The Winter Soldier. I love the films Marvel is putting out.

I think it has been about a decade (or more) since I went to see a movie in a theater... I think the last movie I saw there was the third Lord of the Ring movie

One of my favorite films, and in my opinion Harrison's best performance.

The Lion King is a good movie. Oh, and Nerd pride!

I mainly just watch animated movies. I prefer ones with traditional 2D animation over ones with large amounts of CG animation. I do enjoy silent movies, black and white movies, and old horror movies, though.

Well, I don't like most movies that have come out so far since the late 2000's. But as evidence by my bad-ass Boba avatar, I love Star Wars the most out of any movie I've ever watched.

I usually don't like watching movies alone. I seldom do.

Drive is super cheesy, there is no getting around it. If it was a video game I would be complaining the plot was thin.

I am watching American Beauty at the moment, check it out.

I saw Solomon Kane yesterday, a good fantasy movie if you like that sort of thing.
