The Most Useful Wife.

Please tell me who you think is the most useful wife? Also list the pros and cons of that NPC as well.

Here is my opinion:

Aela The Huntress:

Pros:
- She's attractive and her clothing is well suited for a "sixy warrior."
- She can be your follower and store your loot.
- She can teach you to become a better Marksman even while following you (almost for free).
- After completing the Companion's Questline, you can go to your home and accept missions from her.
- She becomes a merchant, which can be used while she is following you.
- She cannot die. She will only fall to one knee if her health bar drops to 0%.

Cons:
- She looks like she has a turd smeared on her face.
- Unless you're a Nord or a High Elf, she will be taller than you.
- Heterosixual women will not marry her.

Anyone the players marry gets a lobotomy. They're all the same.

I disagree. I have evidence supporting my case.

Beyond the superficial (training, quests, essential status, etc which are all available without marriage), everyone you marry has the same dialogue and role.

Jenassa.
Why?
Because she's like every other marryable follower, but she's able to steal too.

Most of them can die, and most of them cannot follow you either. Their dialogue may be the same, but having the convenience of every one of these perks on the go while you adventure is what makes a wife useful.

You cannot say that Camilla Valerius compares to Aela, for she cannot do any of the things I've mentioned other than become a merchant, which is only useful if you go see her, because she can't follow you.

Point proven. Good day, sir.

This can mostly be seen with Njaada Stonearm, who hates you up til the point where you put the ring on her finger and she turns into this fabulous person.

Why do you need your wife to follow you anyway? There is an abundance of followers to choose from already

Mjoll is best as she's immortal and uses both a battleaxe and bow, and sneaks better then that damn Serana who should be sneaky if she weren't so stupid with her spells (sorry, mentioning her name annoys me ha).
BTW every follower wife will be a merchant and carry your goods.
One hit when she's on her knee and she will die, that's to try and protect NPC's from dying without making them essential. Many times have accidents happened with a follower kneeling and getting killed.
There's only 2 or 3 immortal/essential spouses, Mjoll is one and Derkeethus is another...not sure if there's any others besides them.
