After finally getting my mod list/load order for Skyrim straightened out I am going back to do all my endorsemants on the nexus using the most up to date version of the Nexus Mod Manager. When I click the endorse star for the 1st mod listed alphabetically under mods unassigned I am able to endorse it but any other file I attempt to endorse gives me an error "Unable to endorse this file: we couldn't find a proper nexus id or the file no longer exists on the nexus sites"?

Well, first this is probably something that wants to be handled over at the Nexus forum. Second, this is probably due to the file no loger existing, or a NMM bug. Anyways, should report it over theNexus I assume?
