Dragon bone equipment, well actually I use anything I want to use so . . . everything?
i use the penitus oculatus armor with a solitude guard helmet, normally dual wielding imperial swords with a hunting bow.
its so difficult to use that until you max out enchanting.
Still using the mystic summoned bow, backed up by magic. It simply screams 'Mystic Archer' to me. Plus, I love the enchantment/perk package it comes with: It cannot be disarmed, captures souls, banishes summoned atronachs instantly, turns reanimated undead, never needs recharging, basically unlimited arrows with no worry about trying to 'recover' arrows.
I hate how when you equip a spell, normal bows somehow 'disappear' instead of being placed on your back where one would think they go. Where exactly does the real bow go when you equip a spell? In your pocket? Up your. . . . nvm. Lol. So the conjured bow solves that for me and it feels quite natural. When you equip another spell, the bound bow simply evaporates until you need it again.
I confess to a couple tweaks:
1. The bow is too powerful at low levels and not powerful enough at high levels; so, I adjust its power down initially, then tweak it gradually up as my character levels.
2. In vanilla, you cannot use the bow while riding; so, I've made provisions so it can be carried and used from the saddle.
One thing I've noticed is that I use poisons much less. Since my character is constantly summoning and unsummoning the bow and I don't like to poison in the middle of a fight, it just doesn't encourage poisoning. And, of course, if you unsummon the bow for a moment to cast another spell, any poison on the bow is lost. So poisoning is pretty much limited to just planned stealthy opening shots on big foes.
