err.. anyone know if this is a vanilla thing?

I have been worshiping at Stendarr shrines for 66 levels now.

All of the sudden today I am attacked by 3 of them and one of them has a bounty letter with my character's actual NAME in the letter.

It says I have been worshiping the Daedra.

I am not a vampire nor a werewolf nor have I killed any of them, I certainly have not done any favors for any Daedra gods that I know of.

If this is not some vanilla event I will search thru my mods next.

This is a vanilla event if a Stendarr Vigilant sees you wielding a Daedric artifact, a couple of which you get without doing Daedric quests. Seems a bit odd if you really don't have any.

OMG yes, I think my great sword is Daedric. (I forgot) O crap... is there any way to recover or am I doomed now for the rest of this character's life?
