Hi,
I noticed the following when playing in 3rd person and with a 1 handed weapon equipped:
If you are stationary with your weapon readied, then start moving backwards, and then you swing your weapon while still moving backwards... the attack animation stops abruptly midswing (with swords) or towards the end (maces). Swinging a second time, a third time etc works without any glitches. Swinging while moving backwards if previously you had been moving forward or to the sides also works without any glitches. The bug only occurs if you start stationary and then attack while moving backwards.
I must mention that this happened to me using both vanilla animations and the mod 'enhanced animations'.
From what I could observe, the glitch occurs because the attack animations while moving backwards are different from those used when staying still or moving in any other direction. If you are already moving in some direction prior to moving backwards, the game recognizes the change of direction and uses the proper attack animations from the very beginning. If you were standing still though, it's as if the game doesn't recognize that you were moving backwards (and thus that different attack animations must be used) until you have swung your weapon once. That may be why that one swing is cut prematurely. Of course all this is an educated guess of mine.
I was wondering if there is any fix for this?
