enchanting power question

How do you make your enchantments more powerful? Because I disenchanted an item for 10 points of frost damage, but now that I know the enchantment it only seems to give me the option to give the new weapon 10 points of frost damage, impractical for better weapons. Since you can only disenchant items of one enchantment once, and the soul gem added only affects amounts of charge, how can I get my frost enchantment to do more than 10 points damage?

More enchanting skill. You can boost it with potions and other enchantments as well. Wait, is there an enchantment to boost enchanting?

Hey, thanks. Do you mean that the higher my enchanting level, the more damage my enchantment will do, even if it says" 10 points frost damage"? (Also, I dunno a about the enchanting-enchantment. Sounds possible, tho)

With a higher skill, that "10 points" will become a higher number. The enchantment you learned it from, whatever that was, has nothing to do with how powerful the enchantments that you make are. It is just coincidence that both are 10.

Going up the Center of the Enchanment Skill Tree gives more Powerful Enchants to Clothing and Armor, the left branch improves Elemental Damage Enchants on Weapons. Forgetting that the first "perk" takes five actual Perks can limit the Power of the Enchanted Gear a character is capable of creating.
