Which is your favourite Headcanon or Fan-theory, even if it has been officially disproved?

Mine is from Final Fantasy VIII, the theory is the final antagonist is actually the main female protagonist from the future. There are many points supporting this theory, and they make more sense than one Square official telling that it's not true.

That Zelda in MM is actually dead and in purgatory.

It makes the game that much more eerie

and it makes alot of sense from both a story and game-play perspective, as such I entirely believe that theory


mine would be from Skies of Arcadia, the Theory that since it is said the Gigas were said to have been used in War Against the other Civilizations, and since both Recumen and Grendel had no means of flight (unlike the other four), the various Continents had to have been connected at some point.. either broken Apart after Zelos unleashed the Rains of Destruction, or when the Sky Rifts formed after the Sinking of Soltis

That Buffy never actually left that mental hospital, and that everything in that show that ever occured was all in her head.
