So, I seem to have encountered something strange in Fallout 2. I can't get into Vault City anymore.

I was doing the 'Solve the Gecko powerplant problem' and was on my way to Vault City to get the replacement for the broken reactor part. I gave the guards by the gates my Daypass and they said that everything looked fine, and opened the gate. However, I now can't get past the gate. Even though it's clearly open, I can't go past it. My character seems to try to get through, but can't, as if it's an invisible wall.

I also know that I haven't been banned from Vault City, since I haven't done or said anything to get me banned, and when I meet the guards outside, they say that I can go through.

I also tested with an earlier save file, before I accepted the quest. But, I couldn't get in, either.

Am I screwed or have I missed something?
