United Enclave States of America Description:
All air, naval and land traffic will be directed to specific transportation points. An exclusion zone for all nations to abide by or be fired at, has been established around the Delmarva Peninsula. Once at these points, delegates will disarm and then be escorted to High Speed Monorail links to the Capitol. As the delegates are transported across the nation, they will see out of the window miles of pristine farmland, robotic tractors trundle across the farmland, numerous acres of crops and a small farm every so often.
However, as the City draws closer, the farmland at first becomes punctuated by small single factories intermixed with the land, the factories become more and more common, until at last, there is no more farmland. Just miles and miles of pure factories and military installations.
At this point, Vertibird Formations become more and more common where before, there had perhaps been only one visible over the farmland, here over the factories, there are flights every few minutes now. Sometimes three in the sky at the same time as the delegates draw ever closer to Washington D.C, until at last, a wall or mountain range approaches, the train passes through these barriers and now, the sight is that of Military Installations here and there. Patrols of Robots march across the ground, more often than not concrete underneath their feet. Multiple Vertibird Patrol Formations can be seen coming to and from these Military Installations. Soldiers in Power Armour, Green Plasma Rifles glowing can be spotted from Watchtowers, or just marching across the ground, some watching the train as it makes its way towards Washington D.C.
By now the city is visible. A tall dome encloses its entirety, dark grey arches criss-crossing over it , blue sparks of energy here and there upon as the shield generators are routinely tested. At the tip, a Flagpole bearing the Flag of the Nation flies proudly. The Pentagon is passed, that lies outside of the Dome, not on the right side of the river bank to be part of the dome. The train slows and stops, just outside of the city. A thick great gate more common on a Vault than a city bearing its Number clunks and hisses as it pushed forwards and rolls to the side, revealing the Pure and Pristine city of Washington D.C inside. The train slides inside and stops one final time. Waiting cars are by the Stations await the Delegates. Once inside, the cars set off, Flags wave in a light breeze as the air units bring in fresh pure oxygen and push out the carbon dioxide. The streets are deserted, windows shut and doors locked. All Citizens have been ordered to stay indoors so as not to obstruct the speed of the delegates in their arrival to the meeting.
The Cars speed through the streets until at last, the Capitol Building pulls into sight. At the feet of the steps, the cars stop and the delegates exit the car. They’re led up the steps until they reach the door. They are shown into the centre of the building, a room awaits them, a large table with places for each nation, food and drink serving Type-II Mr. Handy robots await Delegates wishing for refreshments. A single large screen at the head of the room, flanked by no less than twenty hellfire power armour clad soldiers. Turrets and cameras around the walls of the room follow the delegates progress.
The new Secretary of state stands in a pristine black two piece suit, a lush red tie around his neck. He greets each delegate with a nod and a smile, greying auburn hair and blue eyes. He steps forwards to speak. Clearing his throat, he addresses the delegates.
“Ladies and Gentlemen. The President of the United Enclave States of America.”
Stepping to the side, Charles Draycott quietly walks over to a seat and stands behind it as the line on the screen waxes and wanes as the President speaks in his charismatic tones.
“Greetings Delegates. I am John Henry Eden, President of the United Enclave States Of America and I welcome you to the City of Washington D.C for this second Convention among nations.”
