speed up an animation?

i know you can use "start" and "stop" commands for most animations but my situation is this:

i attached the pushactoraway script to a custom spell that i can modify spell cost, chargetime, and knockback distance with to try and create a balanced crowd control tactic for mages, so that i can remove the

generally considered "overpowered" stagger effect on all dual casted destruction spells

however, i realized that most of the recovery time of the victims of this spell is in how they SLOWLY get back to their feet after being knocked down... even if they are only knocked back several feet.

is there some code i could add to the script that speeds up how quickly they stand up?

not to mention in general its relatively unbalanced how they stand up anyway...

have you ever started attacking a bandit who was sitting on a chair, and hit him like 6 times before he gradually got to his feet, as if he just ate a 5 course meal and could barely move?

i haven't tested "stop" animation with this... but i'm not sure how i'd go about doing it anyway... since i wouldn't want to stop the animation of them flying back. also it would look weird to have them halfway to their feet, and then see them snap back to full height.
