Skyrim doesn't allow me to bind actions to my controller's additional buttons. 'Razer Sabertooth' has four extra buttons on its back side and would be super useful to bind healing spell, bow or manual save there. Game's favourite menu isn't always optimal.

What controller are you using and are you using third party software?

There are mods for hotkeying things to the entire d-pad on a 360 controller.
