The forum has an excellent mobile site but support for Tapatalk would still be much appreciated.

I don't inserstand the appeal of Tapatalk. You pay for an app to surf the net and post on your favorite forums.

Yeah, no thanks.

Tapatalk which I downloaded for my Lumia was free...

Tapatalk-support would be welcome.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity&hl=fi is now free. The paid version doesn't exist anymore.

Can you point the paid version for me?

Oh, I just looked and it does say it's free now. When did that happen? It was $3. Just goes to show you how much I pay attention to things.

Clearly you haven't even tried Tapatalk. Try it and then you see it.

I don't have a habit of downloading pointless apps just to try them out. That's a very good way to get all your personal information svcked up by randomappcreatorjoe.

I tried it once. A long time ago when it was $3 to use all the features. I didn't see the need for it then and I don't see the need for it now.

No offence but tin foil hat might be two sizes too small.

That principle is good for relatively unknown apps. To apply it for very well known and very trusted apps like Tapatalk... well, it's paranoia.

Obviously you've never seen what the Facebook app does. Or what the popular http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2011/10/major-privacy-flaw-found-in-dolphin-hd-browser-for-android/ did.

He might have been wondering about some kind of explanation/justification for using it, as opposed to someone just saying "try it to see." Not everybody is interested in trying every app that comes along that might be somewhat interesting or useful if the app's description isn't particularly informative.

>making fun of facebook because it's a big company is ok.

>concerns over Tapatalk isn't.

You do realize Tapatalk's business model is exactly the same as Facebooks, right? If a company isn't selling the product, it means that it's your (the user's) information that's the actual product being sold to other companies. Tapatalk, like pretty much everyo ther non-open source free app, is after your personal information to sell to advertisers and the like.

No business gives away their product for free out of the goodness of their heart.

This too.
