I made this thread because the most recent NFL based thread mentions the Super Bowl in the title and holds a lot of discussion on it. It's a brand new season and the preseason is already under way. I know the preseason isn't much to talk about but this can begin the discussion on the upcoming season. Maybe go over some draft or free agent picks and make predictions for our teams.


My Detroit Lions won their first but lost their second preseason game against Oakland. They completely flopped again last year. We got a whole new coaching staff and everything I'm reading coming out of camp is real positive stuff and gives us Lions fans some hope. We hired the QB coach from the Saints as our OC and that might have been my favorite move. For years the guy coached Drew Brees, one of my favorite current quarterbacks.

My least favorite move was the release of WR Nate Burleson. We signed former Seahawk Golden Tate, who's style is like Burleson's but with better route running a big play ability. So I'm good with this move.
