So I wanted to obtain Eulogy Jones' Hat from Rotface, but despite trying several variations of buying tips from him I haven't managed to get him to wear it (one method I heard was to buy between 10 and 20 tips and leave the cell, but no luck. I've also that and waiting, as well as buying all his tips and waiting, waiting several days in a different cell, etc.).

Anyone got a method through which they managed to successfully get him to wear the hat? I'm a 360 player so I can't just magic into my inventory through the console.

As far as I know, that's cut content that can only be restored with mods.
