demi god death glitch

My second character in F3NV at level 19 went to Sierra Madre. My first pc did all four (ultimate edition) expansions. Mercifully I won't comment on what I thought of certain ones, but lets just say I thought Sierra Madre was too hard and the ghost people too annoying; and since I didn't want to kill any White Glove ladies just to get Veronica a dress I thought I would go back and see if Vera Keyes gown would suffice. (otherwise I'm never going there again)

So, I turned on demi-god mode (console "tdm"). When I returned to the Mojave and turned this mode off I wandered off and suddenly saw the death sequence- after reloading I noticed the HP bar was falling badly. I ate stims and food and healing powder as it dropped but it keeps dropping. FAST. My suspicion is the very bad development decision was made to deliberately save damage in a buffer that would punitively annoy the player once the mode was disabled . So I "FT" to doc Mitchel in Goodsprings- docs heal everything, right?, and after he healed me -HP STILL KEPT DROPPING!

So here's the questions: 1. Is this a glitch or deliberately spite on Bethesda/Obsidians part (sounds like I'm angry doesn't it...yeah, because I suspect the answer)?

2: Does this hidden penalty also happen in god mode (console "tgm")?

3. Is it a death sentence, or if I eat enough replacement stims will it finally comp out to zero / normal condition? If I stand there and get doc healing- how many will I need? Does the doc healing max out at character HP level and not recognize the excess (seems like; e.g if you have HP 100 max and you have 200 hidden excess damage and the doc heals you when you get to 50, he would need to do it 4 times to get you clear; (or the equiv. 200 points of healing food/chems ingested, in this ex.).

It was played out over three (real) days and when I restarted each time the tdm mode was off and I never noticed any hp drop before restarting the mode. The last part played didn't seem to have that much damage to it, unless I got more nailed by the vault turrets than I realized. Anyway, super-stimpacks over 100hp each aren't doing a fast job fixing this, if it can be fixed. I'd hate to have to go back to a pre-entry save to keep the character alive. Is there anyone who knows anything about this?
