Your favorite skill combos

Creating a good character that is fun to play and not tedious requires synergy of skills. Certain skill pairings compliment each other or make the game flow better. I will list some of my favorites. What are some of yours?

Of course there are the obvious ones:

Sneak/Illusion

Sneak/Archery

Block/One-handed

Archery/Alchemy

Smithing/Heavy or Light Armor

These are some more interesting ones:

Conjuration/Enchanting- Using bound weapons that soul trap make it easy to level enchanting

Archery/Restoration- The Guardian Circle and Circle of Protection spells are perfect defense for a non-sneak archer. Even against non-undead, the Guardian Circle will still heal you.

Alchemy/Speech- One of my favorite combos. Selling potions levels speech and allows you to take the merchant perk, which in turn allows you to sell potions to everyone. Then use the money to train alchemy.

Two-handed/Alchemy- Healing with alchemy means you don't have to put down your weapon. The sweep perk allows poison to affect more than one enemy. And there is an easy-to-make potion (fortify two-handed, resist fire) to help with dragons.

Destruction/Alchemy- Alchemy is the only way to boost damage. It also increases the range of cloak spells. Poisons make your enemies weaker to magic.

Alteration/Sneak- Detect life/dead can keep you from getting caught.

Pickpocket/Enchanting- Many people carry enchanted items which can be disenchanted to level enchanting quicker.

Block/Restoration- When using the specific item Spell-breaker, allows ward-absorb to work with the shield.

Destruction/Enchanting- Perks for frost/fire/shock in destruction also boost the power of those enchantments.

Destruction/Conjuration- Use a destruction element that matches your atronach element and you don't have to worry about friendly fire.

Conjuration/Illusion- The quiet casting perk allows you to surprise your enemies with a dremora lord.

When making a new character I always try to take advantage of some of those combos. What are your favorites and what did I miss?

Sneak/Alteration - Detect life/dead is very helpful to sneaksters I've found - both to avoid surprises and to set up sneak attacks.

Edit: Darn! Oops, I somehow missed that you already listed that combo right in the middle of your list.

And you could add Sneak/Alteration/Illusion for quiet casting so the enemy doesn't hear your detection spells.

Wuld away from target, turn around and use great critical charge if you want to avoid getting hit doing that in their face.

Wuld away, use archery,

or pickpocket someone, get caught and then use Fus-Ro-Dah and run :D That has no practical meaning, just hilarious

One-handed, Block, Light Armor & Restoration.

An absolute solid combo. Throw in a bit of sneak, Enchanting & Conjuration on the side and unbeatable.

Oh skill combos, I accidentally read Spell/Skill combos in that sense :D

I am always an assassin, back stabber kind of character if I can.

Sneak, Archery, Light Armor, Illusion, Alteration, One handed

Combine mainly Alteration and Archery/One handed

And then Illusion + Sneak, first disappear and Sneak around the target and deal bonus damage. Might also do Alchemy + Sneak with invis potions.

With a mod called Sneak Tools, I can combine

Sneak and One handed/Two handed/Unarmed for some cool effects - instantly kill or knock out unaware targets!
