Sorry if that didn't make much sense... Anyways, I'm considering possibly making a new mod. The idea of the mod, is you've gotten a dwemer implant that augments your shock damage in the destruction school, and gives you a lot of lightning based powers- including being empowered by stormy weather, as well as absorbing shock spells which temporarily empower you as well... All at the cost, of making you much worse at all other forms of magic including other elements (and possibly a bit weaker physically when not being empowered from those two things as said character would rely on lightning magic a lot). There's two scripting issues though, one of which I'll mention here.
So ideally, I want to make it where, you slowly grow more powerful from killing dwemer mechanical enemies, as well as storm atronachs, IE you kill 20 and become an Electro Sparkler with 20% bonus shock damage, then if you kill 50 you become an Electro Technician with 21% more powerful shock damage, then eventually an Electromancer with 22% more powerful shock damage and so on... More ranks than just that, but you get the basic idea I think. I know with better vampires you can feed off of fallen enemies to slowly become more powerful, but how could something similar be done, with no feeding ability, and different mechanics?
Would it be a certain script? Would it require some sort of quest event? In theory this sounds extremely simple, with some type of script that simply adds a spell upon using the implant, then upon killing 20 of these things, removes that spell, then adds new spells, and continues to remove and add spells as the ranks go up. In SOUNDS simple in theory with the scripting mechanics in place, if the basic center of such a type of script existed- a script that simply adds and removes spells when a certain number of enemies are killed, based on how many of them there are, and the enemies in question would be dwarven constructs and storm atronachs... But making the basic parts of the script, is something way beyond my comprehension.
If any of this made sense, can someone please make a basic script that does that? I'd really appreciate it.
