Interesting. From a gamer elitist perspective, I'd be interested to see just how much cow clickers influence this, and also how many hours the ladies are putting in. As they say, this is largely tied to smartphones, and it's concerning because of just how much cow clickers have grown. I'd be worried that we're gonna see more Dungeon Keepers in the near future as this keeps up.
That said, I think it's a great thing for the industry as a whole that women have taken an interest. Perhaps now we'll see less super-macho power fantasies.

Most casual gamers I know are advlt females and they play those simple facebook games, apps, etc...
Need more addictive games like Candy Crush Saga.
I can just see this taking place at EB games where the kid has to say to mom you can only have one game, only one.
damn, i need to step my game up then. although i would love to see a girl who games on her iphone deal with an actual game like skyrim or dark souls.
