I built this machine 2 years ago to switch from console to PC for this game, and now I have a little money I would like to tune it up with. What would you suggest?

GPU: GeForce GTX 560 Ti

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k cpu @3.30GHz

Memory: 8GB

Current Display: 1920x1080 32bit 60hz Acer 23" Monitor

Would more memory be noticeable? I can play Skyim on Ultra with quite a few graphic mods with almost no stutter...

If your budget is only $100 then I'm not sure you can do anything except add some more RAM, but 8gb is usually plenty for Skyrim.

For $100? No there isn't much you can do that will significantly enhance your system. You already have plenty of memory. Getting more isn't going to do anything. The only thing you could possibly do with memory is upgrade the speed/type of RAM. This totally depends on the motherboard and the currrent memory you have already.

There are Solid State Drives you can get, but that would just affect loading times.

Better gaming mouse and keyboard are possibilities. Maybe a sound card and nice speakers with it?

XFire only on your MB so SLI is out the the question. Sometimes you can find another used card.

Possibly upgrade your tower? If your current one is inadequate anyway.

You could buy a SSD drive. That's a good idea.

What you gain from all this: Faster boot times, launches applications faster, and has higher overall performance.

SSDs work best if speed, ruggedness, form factor, noise, or fragmentation are important factors to you.
