0 Not Found

Hi there. I have no idea what is causing this error, but I do know that I'm at my breaking point in terms of trial and error here. Looking for any insight I can get.

Basically my problem is that whenever I start FNV I get a little pop up error saying "0 NOT FOUND." That's basically it. Weirdly enough I can click "Ok" and FNV will start playing the opening theme and continue to the menu and will even let me play. But what seems to be every minute, the error pops up again - so on and so forth. Every time it pops up in pauses the game (because it alt tabs me). I also usually cannot save/load once I load a first save (it acts like I never even tried/loads the save I was already on).

The game is on an external hard drive. I'd like to play it from there, considering space constraints on my internal HDD and plethora of mods. Wondering if I was getting this error because of some odd "cant play off an external/too many conflicting mods" business, I even installed vanilla (ultimate edition) on both my external and internal drives. I've tried complete new installs (twice), to no avail. Frankly I'm at the end of my rope here.

Anyone know why I'm getting this godforsaken error?

What does your event viewer say? Search for event viewer. Look under Windows logs -> application logs. See if they can help shed some more light on the error source.

Post a dxdiag: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1122570-how-to-dxdiag/

Use spoiler tags. On the edit toolbar, 2nd row to the left of the justification buttons.

Does the error pop up any other time?
