Adventures in crashlands.

Greetings all!

Here, after some troubles with my saves, and overiding conflicts (see the thread Pacifying the mods), I got that error message when loading them: "Unable to find referenced object "Ks_P_Firepit_F" in script KS_AmoveCampStuff.". That, knowing that it was working rather correctly, and that I just installed the mod Pursuit enhanced before it, and arrived in the grazelands .

Not knowing If that s linked or not, but fact is, now, that s always crashing, without being able to play long enough to call it playing. Refresh installers of Mash showed that:

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "masher.pyo", line 2987, in OnShowPage
File "masher.pyo", line 2290, in OnShow
File "mosh.pyo", line 4224, in refresh
File "mosh.pyo", line 3608, in refreshSizeCrcDate
File "bolt.pyo", line 337, in size
File "ntpath.pyo", line 228, in getsize
If that could help... To help me?

Afraid I can't help with the Mash error.

On your mod error I'd suggest getting and running http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1487854-relz-mlox-anolyze-and-sort-your-load-order/ on your load order. Read its messages pane. Attend to any issues identified there.

Following all that delete warnings.txt in your Morrowind directory and start up the game. A fresh copy of warnings.txt will be created post that here with a copy of your mod list (preferably from mlox as it shows mods in load order).

The traceback you posted seems to suggest two things to me. One, you don't have Wrye Mash installed properly. If WM is working correctly, I don't think you would be getting that type of message. Until someone more knowledgable about WM chimes in and gives better directions, you should re-think the steps you followed to install it to confirm whichever version you're using is installed correctly.

Two, as far as I know, any problem with WM is not the cause of your CTDs in the game itself. That means that working "rather correctly" is not the same as working correctly. It has been suggested before in your other thread that you post the text from warnings.txt as part of your description of the problems you're encountering. It was also suggested that you check you load order with mlox. Using mlox will do two things for you and for troubleshooting problems. First, it generates a file listing the mods you are loading in the sequence that the game is loading them that you and anyone else you share it with can use to look for possible problems. Two, it provides warnings, notes and error messages of probable/possible/potential issues that have been reported by other users. If something has not yet been reported, then mlox won't know about it, but it is an excellent tool nevertheless.

And you can use the spoiler feature in the editor to toggle the display of lengthy lists or warning text off or on. It does seem to help making reading long passages of text easier.
