The New Vegas Economy

In fallout 3 it took some serious effort to make caps. I've played through it several times and never saved up over 5k. But in New Vegas (especially with DLC) making money is so simple. I've had a save reach a million caps with minimal effort. If you receive the 'complimentary vouchers' at the end of Dead Money, you can get limitless weapon repair kits for free! Then everytime you find a broken down old Assault Carbine, you've made a few thousand caps from an item that was only worth 300. The perk Them's Good Eatin' can give you 525 caps worth of free stuff just for killing a Radroach. The Jury Rigging perk is hugely overpowered. I can find a Hunting Revolver worth nothing, buy a fully repaired Silenced .22 for 100 caps, repair the revolver to 100%, and sell it making 3000 caps far too easily. This really oughta' be fixed in the next game. It is useless having so much money! I'd saved up 950,000 caps, bought every weapon in the game (including the overpriced unique GRA ones, Bozar, Gehenna etc) and I had nothing else to do with my caps. This really oughta' be fixed in the next game, I don't like being Bill Gates of the wasteland.
