How to make karma useful again:

In fallout 3 karma was important. It chose which companions you could and couldn't recruit. Which makes no sense, that some complete stranger can know the lone wanderer immediately. In new Vegas, nobody really cared. So for fallout 4 I have an idea as to what karma could do for the game.

What does karma even mean? 'What goes around comes around'. If you do bad things, bad things happen to you. If you do good things, good things happen to you. But there's already a mechanic that decides this. LUCK. If you're lucky, you win at casinos and you'll benefit from unspecified 'enemy mishaps'. If you're unlucky, you'll lose in casinos and there will be less mishaps.

So combine the two! If you're good you win at casinos. If you're naughty, you lose.
