Ok so I am hoping to start a new on going thread here, anything from comics to manga. I am mostly a comic book collector myself, but I have some Manga. I prefer Comics. I just went to Chicago Comicon for the first time ever, and I have to say I loved it. I am a pretty recent comic collector. I started with New 52, but have gone back to some other things. Green Lantern and Green Arrow are my favorite super heroes. At Comicon I picked up Green Lantern New 52 #1 Variant Ivan Reis Sketch for 20 bucks, one question I had about that is if the value will ever go up, and how much would it go up if I had Geoff Johns signature. I have seen people trying to sell it for as much as 200 bucks, but IDK about that. Not that I collect to sell or anything, I just love comics. I have heard that the New 52 will likely never be valuable since they print so much of it. Apparently the variants are where it is at. Like some of the Batman Variants have sold for as high as 250 bucks. I am currently reading Green Arrow :The Archers Quest. I pretty much started reading comics at the Blackest Night event, and have read everything between Blackest Night and Green Lantern New 52 Vol 3. Apparantly Green Lantern is one of the few in the new 52 that they decided to no totally reboot. My buddy just got Stan Lee's signature on The Amazing Spiderman #48 when the Vulture returns. So lets discuss some comics!
I would like to start collecting some of the older golden age stuff. I know that gets expensive but it would be amazing to own a them signed by their writers and artists. Speaking of which what is generally worth more? An artist signature or a writers signature?
