So I've been looking for some new games to play and I need something that I can really put some time into due to me having some significant downtime lately. I am open to all genres, although Im not a huge fan of RTSs and I've been playing alot of Skyrim so no bethesda games. I have Civilization and have put hundred of hours into it. Also Im playing from a decent laptop although its a few years old. It can play skyrim decently but can't handle anything new. I'm also looking to keep the price under 20$ (Ya know being in college living off ramen and all that jazz ). Also must be available digitally through GOG.com or Steam or whatever.

Im mostly just looking for some older gem I might have missed or just something new through something like Steam Green Light. Im open to basically anything.

The first games that come to my mind are Knights of the Old Republic, Baldur's Gate 2: The Shadows of Amn, Dragon Age: Origins, and Deus ex.

Baldur's Gate, Peggle, Rogue Legacy, Max Payne, Papers, Please, XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Play them.

Knights of the Old Republic, Ark Fatalis, Fable. Most of them are from the old gen.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown with the expansions and Long War mod.

hop over to GoG and grab the "Might & Magic" games, i personally recommend 6-8
