So, there are many different types of Video games out there, of many different Genres..
Now, I know alot of us play and enjoy multiple genres of games, but what genre do you enjoy most if you had to pick only 1?

If I had to pick... probably MMORPG, followed by Action RPG. Just based on hours played.
In terms of raw fun... MMORPG followed by whatever you want to call Planetside 2.
Roleplaying games. No other genre comes close, in my affections.
Post-ironic parody simulation games.
JRPGs, perhaps. Although the majority that I've played were pretty dumb, the ones that I did enjoy I enjoyed a lot.
Or possibly action adventure/hack and slash. Again, not a lot to like there, but there are a few really good ones.
I don't have a favorite genre. I just play games base on replayability really.
RPGs in which you create your character. Whether it's Beth ARPG-lite with facegen and pick a perk or Avernum turn based with use same model but choose your name and skills. I need to play with my character, not Geralt or Edge Maverick, even if it means there's less scope for detailed plot than with a fixed character.
Male-only player character need not apply: owt to do with chainmail bikini, it's because the character isn't me, it's role-playing and having a female/elf/asian/immortal/magic-using character means I can tell the story of someone I most definitely am not. That might sounds at odds with the no-fixed character thing, but the 'I can tell the story...' bit is important to me.
Why? No idea, can't tell you exactly why I like 1960s jazz either.
Hmm, can't say I have an all time favorite, but the ones that I do seek out more are RPGs, JRPGs and Strategy games. A mix of those is pretty fun. Like Suikoden Tactics, JRPG and Strategy mix.
Or games like Divine Divinity: Original Sin, mix of RPG and strategy.
Heh, yea I do love strategy games a bit more, but give me a mix and I'm happy.
