beautiful graphics (full of character and soul) and a wonderful game to play also (as well as tough to complete).

now before anyone offers to get me my pipe/slippers e.t.c i love modern gaming too (especially the elder scrolls games),but just watching this video just brings back good memories for me (miss my commodore 64).

I also had that Head Over Heels, but i was too young to understand it. Couldn't read english, so the manual was useless too

At risk of starting a Four Yorkshiremen style conversation, I used to dream about having a floppy drive: using cassettes for loading (and, worse, saving) was the stuff of nightmares. Unfortunately the cost of a floppy drive way way out of my ability to afford on meagre pocket money, typically being in the region of ￡400 for a fairly basic one plus its controller: God knows how much that is in today's money, but approximately... a lot.

I recall the Commode 64 itself wasn't cheap, around ￡350, which was getting on for twice the usual price of a home computer of the era. Maybe I'm just bitter because I had a Dragon: great CPU, enough memory, but the graphics were pants, the sound worse and the Microsoft BASIC laughable.
