The Dunmer feelings towards the Argonians now?

I curious what people think that the Dunmer feel towards the Argonians 300 years on.

It got me thinking after a discussion where i considered that the Argonians may be confined to the docks by Ulfric to prevent any animosity breaking out between them and the many Dunmer within the city walls.

But afterwards I started comparing it to situations in real world and thought that 300 years is a long time. If anything we see examples of friendship developing between Dunmer and Argonians.

is there anything in lore to expand on these thoughts?

I'm not sure about the lore, but keep in mind, the Dunmer has a very long lifespan, the second longest I believe. There are still Dunmer around that fought the Argonians and probably still fight raiders along the southern border. They are definitely bitter against the Argonians, despite those who fought them being dead a few times over by now. Frankly, I think the odds of Nords and Dunmer getting a long are far higher than Argonians and Dunmer burying the hatchet, well, except in each other's faces. Those odds are very high.

I don't think the Dunmer people as a whole will ever get along with the Argonians, and that might be mostly their own fault, because of their old prejudice and excessive pride.

The Argonians are generally more good-natured , though, I think. I'm reminded of Brand-Shei, the dark elven war orphan who was adopted as a baby and raised by Argonian parents as if he were one of their own.

I can't imagine a Dark Elf doing the same thing for an Argonian. They're too proud.
