Hello,
I'm having issues here. I want to revisit oblivion with all the dlc's.
Firstly - In 2006 I purchased the game, I even still have the confirmation and shipping email. Then, as dlc's were released I purchased them through the old bestesda website.
Later, in around 2008 or 9 (I think) I purchased a game of the year boxset that included all the dlc's.
Then, about a year or 2 ago I purchased the game of the year edition on steam, believing it to be a complete edition - for the sake of sheer convienience.
With all that said, today I went onto steam and started to download my goty edition and start a new adventure in Cyrodill - to my dismay I found that my steam version doesnt even have the smaller dlc's, like orrery and frostcrag.
I then found "Deluxe edition". In all honesty I am angry, I have purchased the game and it's dlc's 3 times now, do I really need to buy it all again, at $25. FOUR times to enjoy it in all it's glory?
I tried logging into the bethesda site to see if I can still download the old versions I purchased on the site - the site has change, my account doesnt even exist anymore.
My old cd's. I don't have them anymore, since oblivion came out like 8 years ago I have emigrated, move 3 times, all sorts of things - I don't have them. However, I do remember trying to use the CD key from my game of the year edition cd's in steam with the activate a product on steam function, and it didn't work.
This is really, really, frustrating. If the old site where I made the purchases still worked I would be able to download my dlc's, but it doesnt.
Tried lost password on the store, I didn't get an email. Tried lost password on the forums... here I am.
I was looking forward to revisiting the game this sunday as well, oh well.
Can I get some help?
PS: On steam when I go to the deluxe edition store page, it says I already own it. When I download the game I get GOTY, NOT GOTY Deluxe.
