[HELP] Strange finger shapes with weapon drawn while idle

Reposting this from the STEP forums, since it's generally a mod related issue and I thought maybe some of you guys would be willing to help out the clueless fellow that I am.

Hello, everybody. I've installed the entirety of STEP Core a few days back, along with a few of the extended parts (not all due to heavy file size and a mediocre internet connection) and ever since I been troubled by something that really... how to phrase it... unsettles me. Precisely: characters' fingers being held in strange positions whenever they draw weapons. (They look like they're holding up gang signs, as someone pointed out already, lol)
I've installed XP32, FNIS, Dual Sheath etc according to the STEP pack's guidelines. I know it's a skeleton mesh issue, but I can't really figure out a way to solve it, or what exactly is the problem. I also installed HDT Physics/HDT Equipment, but disabling it in Mod Organizer didn't really help me, and the strange finger glitch occured even before installing those two, but I just tried (unsuccessfuly) to ignore it.

Sorry I know this is not funny for you, it is just that THAT is the proper way to hold a melee weapon.
You grip it with the thumb and forefinger, move the weapon, then just before your weapon lands on target you "snap" your loose fingers down tight on the lower part of the handle.
This allows for more flexible movement while swinging the weapon for various objectives (feints, position change, wind ups etcetera ) and then adds additional power at the final phase of the attack.
The screen shot is a little exaggerated however, your lower fingers would not be that far away from the handle, just much looser than your thumb and forefinger.
If it were me, I would first remove the XP32 skeleton to see if it is that.
IF you have a clean savegame (one that has never seen any mod and starts outside of the tutorial part of the game) you can use the old method of dividing your mods into 2 groups.
Load one then the other to see which group causes the issue. Then do this again with the "bad" group over and over until you narrow it down to the one. This will only take a few cycles most of the time. Well it depend on how many mods you have, for me it has only been about 5 times in the past.
