Need Recommendations On Quest Lines For RP Character : V

Need a little help from those better acquainted with the lore of The Elder Scrolls to flesh out this characters finer details.

A summary would be as such: A male Breton, loyal to the Empire, a highly trained soldier and accomplished magician specializing in high magick ritual summonings. Unbeknownst to him, the church has accused him of heresy and the Empire has issued a death warrant. His capture on the border was not simply a byproduct of wrong place wrong time. Feeling betrayed after a life devoted to the Divines and the Empire he has sworn to exact his revenge upon the Empire, the Church, all who worship the Divines, and even the Divines themselves if possible. Thus his story in Skyrim begins...

I had planned on him joining the Stormcloaks in the Civil War and even seek out the help of various Daedra to aid him in his all consuming quest for revenge, no matter the cost. As I'm not very knowledgeable about the various quests within Skyrim I was hoping others could offer suggestions for RP appropriate quests/questlines.

Any other thoughts and opinions regarding all aspects of this character's storyline are appreciated.

Well being a mage the college of Winterhold might be right up his alley. At least access to expert magic teachers and such.

Civil war, stormcloak side is a good way to spit in the empire's face. Maybe even give the thalmor a black eye and rescue thorald grey-mane from Northwatch Keep. (You can pick up this quest in Whiterun)

I'd have him certainly collect daedric artifacts. maybe even dragon priest masks. If you pursue Skyrim's main quest, there are a lot of side quests you can encounter by trying to discover as many words of power as you can.

Yeah, this character sounds like the perfect person to do all the Daedric quests, even the really nasty ones. And the Dark Brotherhood is a pretty obvious choice.

true but for an RP, the outcome would not be known before hand to the character, only to the player. But yes it would suit a character trying to get back at the empire.
