Poll: What is your highest level character?

Post » Mon Sep 15, 2014 4:38 pm

Hi everyone! I got my first character to level 50 today! I want to celebrate my making a poll about high how you have levelled your characters!

I have gone about 55 hours into this play through. I have trained maybe 20-25 times. I do use community uncapper, not to increase levelling speed but to break the 100 skill cap barrier. So far I only have 2 or 3 skills over 100 and they are around 105 and 108, so they have helped me level as well.

What about you, community?

I did 5 complete playthroughs with 5 characters and retired all of them between level 40-50. Each took an average of 200 hours.

I'm guessing my highest level character was about level 55 when I retired her. I'm not really sure. I rarely think in terms of levels. I don't really care what my character's level is. When a character's story is finished to me that's when the character gets retired. That can happen any time between level 2 and level 55.

When you say "mods that alter leveling" I assume you mean character leveling (like Oblivion's Realistic Leveling) and not world leveling (like Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul)?

If you mean character leveling, then no. I haven't yet used a character leveling mod in Skyrim. I use them regularly in Morrowind and Oblivion, though.

Correct, although most overhauls (Requiem, SkyRe if you use the recommended uncapper settings) affect character levelling as well, so I would include them as levelling won't be entirely vanilla.

My highest leveled character was level 43. Not sure how many hours that took, but too long it was.

With console commands however...I had Darth Colon at level 250.

My highest character was 86. The reason i got him to that level, was to unlock legendary dragons and Ebony Warrior. It was the only character that completed all Daedric, factions, civil war, DG, DB and a a lot of the side quests, especially in Solstheim.

Highest level is 54.

Most characters I play between 200 to 300 hours. Others may not make it past 10 hours :)

I do not use leveling mods.

Well... I barely play the game. I'm too busy making characters and taking screenshots.

But back when I played Skyrim on the Xbox, Any character that I stuck with, I played between 50-300 hours. Though only 5 characters had over 200.

I can't vote because I have no idea how many hours I have put into my highest level character. Anyway he is on lvl 65, I didn't used any leveling altering mods with him, but I used Dragonborn DLC's ability to reset a skill (I roleplayed Herma-Mora took his knowledge of smithing when he bargain for the second word of the shout.) Nowadays I use uncapper with my newer characters but I haven't yet reached lvl 60 with anyone else.

Highest toon is level 145ish or so. Current playthrough my toon is at level 98 (still haven't started Dawnguard, Elseweyr, Falskaar, the Companions, or the Dark Brotherhood on this playthrough yet).

Hard to say how many hours I put in per toon, usually around 300-500 I would guess. I tend to play until I finish all the main stuff, all the thanes, all the guild quests, all the standard DLC's (Dawnguard and Dragonborn) and at least a few of the extended lands mods I download (Falskaar, Elseweyr, Sanctum of the Fallen, ORS, etc).

And right now I use the Uncapper with skills capped at 1000, (effective skills being 200) though I think I've only hit 200 on a skill once or twice before as I rarely buy skills past the lower levels). I also use the Scalable destruction mod (incinerate hits around 300 per hand right now at around 180 skill). I think my highest skill is 183 or something... I believe that's either destruction or smithing.

I also use Dragon Soul Relinquishment and Dragon Merchant for buyable dragon souls and stuff to buy with dragon souls (hunting Dragons is always useful for me, even after unlocking all shouts).

I also play on Legendary and use a variety of increased difficulty mods like Deadly combat, Dragon combat overhaul, etc. If you're going to hit hard and be strong, you need tough enemies to keep it challenging (and tough mods like Sanctum).

Highest was above 50 and below 60, most (except the ones that get restarted really quickly) are between level 30-50 when I retire them, they'd have 300+ hours played each, no mods that affect levelling used so far.

Gilliam, an Imperial of mine, on the Ps3 I stopped playing him when he got to level 81, seeing as the patch that reset skills had not been release.

Now on the PC, Gilliam has reached level 200ish, with around 800 hours of play time, with no mods or console commands. Just lots of using legendary to reset skills.

My highest level character is level 85 and counting. I currently have over 300 hours with her, having completed the Main quest, DB, TG, CoW, Bards, the Dawnguard faction, and currently working on the Dragonborn dlc. The reason I did this was to get high enough level to fight the legendary dragon and the Ebony Warrior.

Most of my characters are level 45-50 when they are retired. I like to spend an at least 200+ hours on each.

I use no mods that affect the leveling. I am using the in-game mechanic of making skills legendary to achieve higher levels.

Level 50, reinstalling and remixing multiple mods has caused me to restart... I don't even know how many times. And most of my characters only had about 20-50 hours put in them consequently.

Well, according to Steam, I have 1450 hours in but I've never had a character over level 31. I don't like the way the game changes around level 27-30 with big inflation of enemies and loot. I think the best balance is around level 20 and I try to design characters that can't level past 25 or so (by limiting used skills)

Most of my RP characters are roughly 200-300 hours played. Leveling off somewhere in the 40lv area. I do have one character (long retired) that made it mid 60s in level.

But for me its the journey, the story. The RP adventure. I don't pay attention to stats or levels.

Highest was 67.

My current character is 35. I stay with a character for a long time when I play them, Meleineth lasted for over 1,200 hours I'd guestimate.
