Re-mastering all The Elder Scrolls Games

Post » Mon Sep 15, 2014 7:15 pm

Hi, this is just for fun, but I really would like to see re-mastered versions of all the elder scrolls games either this generation or next one.

Preferably, I would like to see major realistic graphics, including ingame weather, season, and environment changes, as well as better NPC behavior while maintaining the core RPG elements of each game. Also, I never plaid anything before oblivion, so it would be nice (if not already made this way) that all those previous titles future the same first persona and third person sword/axe/magic/stealth gameplay found in the elder scrolls 4 and 5. Finally, integration of such new technology as VR headsets would awesome, to give players more immersive experience in those games.

Again this is just for fun and I don't expect an answer if it would happen or not, but if you are interested, please show your support by commenting of what you want to see in the re-mastered versions.

Thanks

PS: The Elder Scrolls games are still the best games even to this date.

You can't put a size 12 foot into a size 9 shoe.

The older games, especially Daggerfall and Morrowind, have a much more complex skill set, more faction interplay, more weapon types, more complicated magic, more dialog, and a completely different system of combat. Those games would be gutted if they had to be crammed into the simplified mechanics of the later games. And there's no way that any reasonably-priced computer could handle a huge open world the size of Daggerfall in modern 3D graphics. It's just not possible, even if Bethesda would do it (which they won't.)
