Do you use a SSD?

I'm looking at an SSD for my next PC. The sizes available to me are quite small. Can you put Steam and a few games on an SSD (w/windows on the HD) and transfer Steam games in between the HD and SSD without downloading them again? I guess this is really a non Elder Scrolls question as the modded copy of Skyrim NMM and SKSE would probably need to stay on the SSD.

Yes, I have a smallish 128Gb Crucial SSD which has Windows 7 plus a handful of games on it. My Steam install is on an HDD, and I use symbolic links to relocate games onto C. You can simplify this using Steammover, or if you're downloading a Steam game from scratch these days you can specify the destination.

Skyrim-wise, I have the game, and Mod Organizer both on the SSD.

Yeah, I have the same setup as richardb70. Whenever I install a game on Steam, I can choose between my SSD or my Steam library on the HDD.

I would if the ones with larger amounts of space were more affordable, but I don't see a need to use one otherwise. I'm fine with hard drives. I still need to get a backup drive with 1TB of space before I get an SSD, too. Luckily, my motherboard didn't run out of SATA ports, so having three drives in my computer wouldn't be a problem. It, sadly, only has maybe 3 or 4 fan ports and one is for a CPU fan.

I'm concerned about load time for upcoming games like LOTR, Dragonage, and a heavily modded copy of Skyrim.
