This is my first post and I couldn't find a similar one on the forums. So here goes!
[SPOILERS BELOW ...AND THROUGHOUT]
Have you ever wanted two Blades of Woe without cheating? Well, there is a way!
Requirements (for the extra, but first Blade of Woe):
High enough pickpocketing skill + sneaking skill + pickpocketing perks.
In my case, this was:
*pickpocketing skill of 100 + perk "misdirection"
*sneaking skill of about ~65.
*upgraded (by Tonilia) Thieves guild boots
*deft hand necklace+ring
*whatever else boosts sneak/pickpocket (as sometimes %sneak success provides better pickpocketing than %pickpocket success... go figure, sneak is probably factored into the pickpocket success formula)
Method:
1.) Finish Aventus Arentino's "Innocence Lost" quest, get the note and go to sleep.
2.) Once in the cabin with Astrid, go into sneak mode, pickpocket her while hidden and take the blade of woe (and gear if you have the "perfect touch" perk).
The "1st" blaode of woe:
Astrid will have all her gear respawn after finishing this event and will provide you another blade of woe during her death event.

Note:
I performed this on a >patch 1.9 version of Skyrim (with only Hearthstone and Dawnguard), so this might have been fixed. Or, this is simply due to the fact that this is one of the two moments where Astrid isn't marked as a "crucial character" and allows here gear to be stolen.
