Fix for 344.11 Nvidia Error in Skyrim

Post » Sun Sep 21, 2014 1:50 pm

The error you get is:

The procedure entry point Direct3DCreate9Ex could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvspcap.dll.

Cause:

Geforce Experience affects programs that use d3d9.dll like ENB & Sweet FX.

Solution:

Uninstall Geforce Experience

I post this here because the way the error pops up will lead people to believe it is a new driver problem and not something mod related.

this should be helpful to a lot of people as it seems a few upgraded recently and have had Skyrim fail to launch.

Not to be rude, but it's neither driver related or a mod issue.

Geforce Experience tweaks your game settings through your drivers. And obviously the culprit that your ENB is not working. is not the ENB's fault, but Geforce Experience.*

I assume you can play with the 344.11 drivers and your ENB just fine.

Happy it's working for you again. !!! :tops:

---------

* Geforce Experience is not a must have program. So, sometimes it makes more harm than good.

It is a driver issue if the program comes bundled in with the drivers on Nvidias official site. I wouldn't have used it otherwise. They push that **** hard.
