Logans Loophole

So capping out at level 30 stops you from maxing all skills. Just about. I calculated that you could get all skills to around 95 by level 30, with intelligence maxed, Tag!, Intense Training, educated and comprehension after getting all of the magazines, and with skilled.

Obviously most people don't start with 10 INT, or take Tag! but still, its awesome. If you dropped a weapon skill, you could probably max twelve skills by level 30.

Just thought I'd share this.

PS I used the Goodsprings glitch to level 50, then worked it up from there. They all got to a number (which I can't remember perfectly), which when all of the available skill books are used (4 in the Mojave, 3 from DLCs) would add up to something in the mid 90s.

Pwetty cool.

Why would you need all skills to get to 100? Its a single player game so it is up to you but still I can't see why.

In my view many skills are not needed and many are either/or types. You'd have energy or guns, no reason to get both as they do the same thing - kill from a distance. If you went melee you'd also want unarmed up to 90 for slayer but with unarmed you'd only need melee to 45 for super slam. Barter would only be useful for pack rat, caps are limitless from looted equipment so you can leave this at base. Explosives is another all or nothing type, you either want to be good at it or avoid it.

The ones you'd want to max would be lockpick, science, repair, ranged combat skill, melee or unarmed, speech, with survival and sneak >50. At 30 levels this is achievable with 6 int and educated, maybe even without I've never done the math.. if you went with the reader perks you could probably min/max more and use super self made books to hit 100 as needed.

Now with JE Sawyer limit to 21 levels for Logan that is much more constricting - no tasty level 22+ perks.

I'd say most people who played the game before DLC have experience of maxing out skills, it's easy if you use temporary bonuses from clothing given that some skills (science, repair, lockpicking, speech and barter) don't need to be level 100 all the time anyway.

EDIT: I can remember the first time I wanted to beat the dam the socially before DLC, I was wearing Naughty Nightwear with the T-51b Power Helmet - pity Eulogy Jones' Hat wasn't really known about then as I might have looked slightly less ridiculous.

one reason I almost always take logan;s loophole now, because 30 is a great stop and still leaves plenty of room for my characters to be unique, not just buncha maxed skills and every perk(boooring much? much too much)

I don't do this in game, I've never even on a level 40+ character, maxed all of my skills. It was just to test the possibility of doing so.
