So, my explosives/unarmed build (or explosives/power fist build, as its quickly become) needs an upgrade. I've got the 25mm APW and Grenade Launcher, which have got most enemies covered. But, for close range, I'm relying on the power fist, and its not all so exciting.

I need a new unarmed weapon, so what are my options. Strength requirements rule out the ballistic fist, and I don't like the displacer glove (that flash is irritating). So what am I left with?

I'm thinking superheated saturnite fist... Any better suggestions?

My favorite fist weapon in the game is Greased Lightning. The thing is powerful and wicked fast.

I'd go with Pushy (unique Displacer Glove), as that has a knockback effect which let's you take full advantage of your explosives weapons. But you don't like it so...

Alternatively (and if your a master of the ranger knockdown) I recommend Salt-Upon-Wound's Power Fist (poison effect) or as you said, the Saturnite Fist, Superheated.
Greased Lightning is also quite interesting. It speeds up your special moves.


The Industrial Hand from LR is quite a powerful thing, but it takes away a little from the unarmed combat feeling. It also requires 7 Strength. And if you play like me, you'll have a long road to walk anyway before going to the Divide.

Love and Hate?

Not a power fist, but nice nontheless.

Love and Hate: Capable of handling any enemy while also looking stylish. I love power fists, but i hate how there's only ONE on ONE Hand, it looks silly and lopsided. I honestly prefer having both hands ready to knock people's skulls about.

Greased Lightning: It's Greased Lightning, fool! It sends people flying! Nuff said.

Industrial Hand: aka God hand. It's broken. I personally don't like it, but if you want to be considered Overpowered, Industrial Hand is the weapon to go with.

I love the Ballistic Fist, always a deadly unarmed weapon, though the other ones listed above, are faster, some do more damage;) and are generally better. My advice try out a few, you may find one that will be your favorite, even though it may not be the 'best'.
